Little Eagle 500 (LE-500) is a 4 to 5 seat multi-purpose light aircraft that was researched and developed by the co-operation of Shijiazhauang Aircraft Industry Corporation Ltd., Xian Aircraft Designing Research Institute, and China Civil Aviation Flying Institute. The LE-500 is a single-pilot conventional layout and design aircraft with lower wing, single piston engine, two-blade propeller, contractible tri-cycle landing gear, and an all metal semi-monocoque structure. The LE-500 conforms with CCAR-23-R2 airworthiness standard and is a highly versatile light aircraft.

The basic configuration of the LE-500 is a trainer aircraft. But it can be modified to function as a business plane, a touring aircraft or it can be used for agricultural and fishery applications, environmental protection, military and para-military applications.
